The Home Office published new statutory guidance for the identification and support of modern slavery and human trafficking victims.
This guidance supersedes the following earlier guidance documents:

Statutory guidance sets out the information that competent authority staff in England and Wales must be aware of and the processes that they must follow. It includes fundamental information regarding modern slavery indicators, types of modern slaver and the organisations involved in combating modern slavery and human trafficking.
The guidance is intended for competent authority staff in England and Wales.
