Philippa Southwell, Managing Director at Southwell & Partners, will be a guest speaker at the upcoming ‘Forced Labour in Supply Chains’ event held by Rimildamor on 12th August. She will be speaking on modern slavery compliance and ethical supply chains. Also on the panel is Katharine Bryant, who is the Modern Slavery Research and Policy Manager at the Walk Free Foundation.
The event is due to address issues of modern slavery, human trafficking and forced labour in the fashion industry. It will focus on human right violation, business human rights and measures that can be taken by consumers, businesses, governments and organisations to rectify this.
